Job Summary
We are hiring a Resident Technical Officer (C&S) for the Choa Chu Kang Waterworks PUB Project. This role requires holding an RTO certificate from IES and involves overseeing project execution on site near NTU, with transport provided by Pioneer MRT.
Responsibilities
- Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with the Building Control Act and approved construction drawings
- Monitor and verify that civil and structural works are executed according to project specifications and standards
- Collaborate with the Resident Engineer to resolve site and construction-related issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to facilitate smooth site operations
- Coordinate with team members to maintain project timelines and quality standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Registration with IES as Resident Technical Officer (Civil)
- Minimum 10 years of experience supervising civil and structural construction works
- Demonstrated communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Contract duration: 5 years
- Site address: 51 Nanyang Dr (S) 637456 (near NTU) - Transport pick up and drop off at Pioneer MRT
- Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8.30 am to 5.30 pm | Saturday - 8.30 am to 12.30 pm
- Probation period: 6 months
- Notice period: 1 month during probation, 2 months after confirmation
