Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Guarantee that all site activities strictly comply with regulations and guidelines set by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and other relevant government agencies in Singapore. Maintain rigorous quality control measures for all construction activities and materials, including conducting and witnessing necessary tests to verify compliance with approved standards.
Supervision & Execution: Execute all duties under the direction and supervision of the project's appointed Qualified Person(s) (QP), ensuring full adherence to their instructions and site directives. Supervise construction works to ensure they are executed in accordance with project specifications, design intent, approved drawings, and site instructions.
Technical Review & Coordination: Meticulously review and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings and specifications. Proactively identify, report, and help resolve any discrepancies or potential issues to the Qualified Person(s) and relevant project stakeholders. Attend and contribute to project meetings with QPs, consultants, contractors, and other parties to coordinate works and resolve site-related matters.
Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports, documenting construction status, quality observations, non-conformities.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
Accreditation: Must be accredited as a Resident Technical Officer (C&S) by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience as an RTO, with A&A Project with Hospital Building/ Factory A&A Clen room experiences.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in reading and interpreting complex architectural, structural, and construction drawings and specifications.
Soft Skills: A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Possesses strong coordination and reporting abilities to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
Work Schedule: Must be willing and available to work rotating shifts or night shifts as required by project needs.
