Resident Technical Officer (C&S) - T5

Project: Megaspine - Changi T5

Responsibilities:

• Supervise tunnel and civil engineering works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor tunnel excavation, shaft construction, structural works, and temporary works activities.
• Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and completed works.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and project safety requirements.
• Monitor geotechnical instrumentation, settlement readings, and ground movement during tunnelling operations.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and authorities to resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Attend site meetings, prepare inspection records, and submit progress and quality reports.
• Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in overseeing tunnel construction activities and ensuring compliance with LTA, BCA, and project requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, preferably in Tunnel projects.
• Registered RTO with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
