Job Summary
You will supervise and inspect building works for new housing projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements while coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect architectural, structural, piling, M&E, and landscape works onsite and at offsite manufacturing or prefabrication locations to ensure construction quality and accuracy
- Conduct functional tests and commissioning of building systems to verify operational performance
- Perform defects checking and locking-up of flats to prepare for handover
- Manage filing and recording of all project documentation, including site reports and photos, to maintain accurate project records
- Report discrepancies in contract or shop drawings and highlight unresolved technical issues to Architects and Engineers
- Assist Landscape Consultant by supervising landscape works, applying knowledge from WSQ Certificate in Landscape Operations or equivalent qualification
- Support Quantity Surveyor Consultant in site verification of as-built and completed works
- Inspect workers quarters and verify delivery orders and Optional Component Scheme (OCS) compliance
- Verify satisfactory completion of contractor's defects rectification during defects liability period and monitor adherence to service standards
- Attend joint inspections with residents to understand and address their feedback and requests
- Conduct audit checks on residents renovation hacking of walls to safeguard building structures based on approved plans
- Coordinate and supervise diversion works with relevant skills and knowledge under the direction of the Qualified Person
- Maintain site safety and housekeeping standards and proactively resolve site issues with teamwork and effective communication
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS)
- Accredited Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES)
- Fully conversant with statutory regulations related to building supervision
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of local experience in construction site supervision
