Monitor the project including progress control, quality control, variation/ cost control, safety control, environmental control etc
Report any critical and/ or major issues to SOR/Assistant to SOR proposing possible solutions
Liaise and coordinate with Consultants to resolve technical and/ or interfacing issues
Keep and maintain proper, detailed, and updated site records on progress of work
Monitor and properly record inspection of different architectural trades
Assist Consultants/Clients in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site
Conduct in progress inspections to ensure that work carried out complies with quality, standards, and requirements.
Ensure that all installation methods and materials used are in accordance with contract specifications and drawings
Liaise with contractors/sub-contractors in the coordination of site works.
Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and irregularities to consultants
Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness, and tidiness of the site.
Requirements
Diploma in Architectural Studies from recognized tertiary institution and National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCSS)
At least 8 years of relevant site experience as a Resident Technical Officer with extensive architectural and interior design supervision, of which 3-5 years of experience preferably in architectural works for HDB projects
Fully conversant with statutory regulations and codes for site supervision, quality control procedures construction administration of progress reports
Self-motivated, proactive and team player
MUST be registered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer
