Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based clinical care to inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose conditions, and formulate management plans.
- Perform and assist in medical procedures within the assigned specialty.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, multidisciplinary discussions, and clinical audits.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and allied health staff where appropriate.
- Contribute to research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold professional, ethical, and patient-safety standards in all clinical duties.
Requirements
- Must hold a basic medical degree that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC); OR
- Hold a postgraduate qualification registrable with the SMC, such as MRCP, MRCGP, MRCOG, FRCEM, FRCS, FRCR, FRCA, or FRCOphth.
- Strong clinical knowledge and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
