Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in bored piles, reinforced concrete (RC) works, and structural steel works to oversee construction quality and compliance.
- Coordinate architectural building works and interior design finishing fit-out works to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Interpret drawings and contract documents accurately to guide construction activities and resolve discrepancies.
- Lead site, progress, variation, and coordination meetings to drive project milestones and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage site supervisors overseeing civil & structural (C&S) engineering, architectural, and mechanical & electrical (M&E) engineering works to ensure effective execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify builder compliance with health and safety regulations as per Ministry of Manpower (MOM) standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of Resident Technical Officers to maintain high performance and project delivery standards.
- Ensure adherence to local building regulations and codes related to civil and structural engineering throughout project lifecycle.
- Apply knowledge of requirements to meet specific client and regulatory needs.
Required competencies and certifications
- Recognized Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
- Accreditation with IES/ACES and possession of a valid Resident Engineer Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising structural and architectural works.
- Full knowledge of the Building Control Act and Regulations.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working on HDB/LTA projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player and lead technical teams.
