Collaborate with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities, and contractors to provide planning, design, and supervision leadership, ensuring prompt resolution of site issues and timely project completion.
Ensure proper documentation of all site activities, including site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, and as-built submissions.
Witness all inspections, testing, and commissioning activities conducted by contractors to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor site works to ensure strict adherence to approved method statements and work procedures.
Supervise structural works and promptly identify any non-conformities or deviations from approved designs and specifications.
Ensure that the Builder executes all works in accordance with the Consultant's instructions.
Review drawings for discrepancies, highlight potential issues to the Consultant, and propose effective solutions to avoid project delays.
Conduct quality inspections and ensure quality control of materials used throughout the project.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered as a Resident Engineer (RE) with IES.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Resident Engineer in supervising Building & Infra construction projects.
Thorough knowledge of the Building Control Act and related regulations, with proven ability to manage contracts professionally and maintain comprehensive site and contract documentation.
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
Experience in CAAS projects will be an added advantage.
