RESIDENT ENGINEER (C&S)

Responsibilites

. To ensure that the contractor co-ordinates the works of various contractors

. To agree to detailed programmes of work-time chart and representation of site plans

. To check that all necessary drawings and instruction have been given to contractors and authorization obtained, in accordance with the agreed programme

. To check that materials are ordered in good time and permits obtained

. To check that all construction works are carried out in a safe manner, and that the site is kept secure

. To watch for faulty workmanship and materials incorporated in the works and to issue instructions for rectification

Requirements:-

. Recognised Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with valid RE Accreditation Certificate from IES

. Must have at least 5 years of post graduate experience respectively in supervising building projects.

. Fully conversant with Building Contract Act and Regulations.

. LTA/HDB Experience preferred.
