The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on LLM supply chain security. The aim is to develop the software component analysis and security testing method in the context of LLM ecosystem, particular on testing different kinds of LLM applications. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof Xie Xiaofei from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.
Candidate's core responsibilities are:
- Design methods to automatically analyze the components of the LLM APPs.
- Design automated methods to test the LLM and third-party libraries in the LLM APPs.
- Develop the tools for component identification, security analysis and testing.
- Write research papers.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines froma reputable institution of higher learning
- Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience on software testing and AI security
- High-quality publications in top-tier software engineering/security/AI journals or conferences
- Basic knowledge in software testing, AI testing, and security
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on software supply chain security and LLM security
- Familiar with program analysis, software testing and mobile app testing tools
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java and C/C++
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
