Research Officer/Senior Research Officer (HY Lab), IMCB

The NeuroPhenomics Lab is dedicated to the profound exploration of brain tumor biology, focusing particularly on key driver mutations like IDH1 and IDH2. These mutations significantly contribute to the development of aggressive malignant gliomas by altering chromatin structure and genome methylation, thus influencing tumor evolution. Beyond this, our lab is committed to identifying other genetic alterations with potential clinical relevance.

We are seeking a Research Officer with a strong interest in laboratory management and translational cancer research. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in a relevant scientific field, with preferred experience in day-to-day lab operations, animal handling, and cell culture techniques.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering or related.
• In-depth knowledge of PCR and molecular cloning.
• Experience with day-to-day lab operations, animal handling, and cell culture techniques.
• Proficiency in wet lab techniques.
• Strong teamwork abilities leadership experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
• A positive and eager attitude toward learning, coupled with responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
• Advanced skills in critical thinking, communication, and building interpersonal relationships.
