Join the Chemical Biology lab at GIS to Unlock the Therapeutic Potential of targeting nucleic acids
The Yu Lab is a chemical biology lab dedicated to translational research targeting cellular nucleic acids. We integrate functional genomics, chemical biology, and molecular pharmacology to advance RNA-targeted drug discovery. Our goal is to re-engineer antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) for gene-selective regulation, paving the way for rational drug design.
By leveraging cutting-edge gene-targeting strategies, structural biology, sequencing technologies, and computational approaches, we aim to unlock RNA and DNA as precise therapeutic target, addressing diseases linked to genomic dysregulation and undruggable pathways.
We are looking for a highly motivated Research Officer to join our team and drive/lead independent projects on innovative RNA- and DNA-targeted therapeutic discovery. This position is instantly available.
