We are looking for a Research Fellow (Wireless Security) to conduct research on AI-aided wireless security for 6G communications. The recruited Research Fellow will focus on ONE of the following research directions: 1) developing and validating AI-enabled methods for security-oriented RF design, 2) low-detectability/covert wireless transmission, or 3) radio-frequency (RF) fingerprinting-based device authentication. The work will involve theoretical analysis, algorithm development, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop experimentation. The Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator and collaborators/students across NTU Singapore to deliver high-quality research, demonstrable prototypes, peer-reviewed publications, intellectual property, and follow-on research proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct original research on AI-aided wireless security, with emphasis on secure and resilient physical-layer technologies for future 6G communication systems.
Identify potentially patentable research outcomes and fill in patent application forms.
Write and publish high-quality research papers.
Assist in the preparation and writing of research grant proposals.
Co-supervise undergraduate and/or graduate students.
Job Requirements:
PhD in electrical and electronic engineering, communication engineering, signal processing, RF/microwave engineering, or related discipline.
Strong publication record and hands-on experience in one of the following areas: wireless security, wireless communications, AI/machine learning for communications, covert communications, signal processing, and/or RF design.
Ability to conduct research independently and collaboratively within a team.
Good written and oral communication skills in English- essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
