Job Description

We are looking for an Research Fellow to conduct high-quality research and propose cutting-edge solutions to nearshore seawater level monitoring and wave height monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality research and experiments on nearshore seawater monitoring

  • Prepare grant proposals and project reports

  • Program using Python and test theoretical findings via computer simulations

  • Test the methods via lab experiments

  • Publish results in top-tier journals in related fields

  • Assist in mentoring PhD students

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in mathematics, systems engineering, or machine learning

  • Expertise in monitoring of sea

  • Strong programming skills

  • An outstanding track record of research in the corresponding field demonstrated by an excellent publication record (e.g., coastal engineering, water research, top ML conferences)

  • Advanced written and communication skills
