Research Executive / Senior Research Executive (Future Foods)
What You Will Be Working On
- Prepare, conduct, and maintain mammalian tissue culture under sterile conditions.
- Assist in co-culture and 3D culture experiments within Organ-on-Chip systems.
- Perform CAD-based design using AutoCAD, 3DMax, or Blender.
- Support the design, fabrication, assembly, and testing of Organ-on-Chip prototypes.
- Conduct analytical assays such as ELISA, immunohistochemistry, RT-qPCR, microscopy, and HPLC.
- Manage experimental documentation, reagent inventory, and data logging.
- Perform data analysis on experimental works.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper waste disposal procedures.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualification in disciplines such as Biology, Biomedical Science, Bioengineering, or related fields.
- Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Practical experience in mammalian tissue culture and aseptic techniques.
- Familiar with bioanalytical techniques such as ELISA, IHC, RT-qPCR, microscopy, or HPLC.
- Proficiency in CAD or 3D modelling software (AutoCAD, 3DMax, Blender), engineering design and 3D printing (stereolithography) will be preferred.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration, actively supporting peers, interns, and project members.
- Responsible and organised, effective in managing time and multitasking across experiments and lab operations.
- Displays initiative and adaptability, with a readiness to learn new techniques and adopt new tools.
