We are looking for a Research Engineer to join a cutting-edge AI research big tech team focused on advancing the frontier of superintelligence through supersensing. The team works on large-scale foundation data and models across multiple modalities (Computer Vision, NLP, Embodied AI), with an emphasis on:
- Smarter data curation for perception
- Better spatial and temporal modeling
- More powerful and efficient research tooling
- High-quality, diverse foundation models
What You'll Do
- Implement advanced research systems and tools in the domains of AI and machine perception
- Build new algorithms, architectures, and functionalities for large-scale research platforms
- Support researchers in transforming ideas into working prototypes and production-grade systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams across computer vision and machine learning
- Play a key role in defining and executing system implementation roadmaps
- Contribute to publications and broader research outcomes
Who We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, or data-centric AI research
- Able to work independently on implementation and engineering tasks
- Strong interest in applied research and large-scale AI systems
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, LLMs, Machine Learning, or AI
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with C/C++, Python, or Rust
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field
- Experience developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure
- Experience with deep learning frameworks, especially PyTorch
This is an initial 12-months full-time contract role inclusive of statutory benefits.
