The key objective is to support efforts to create a trusted digital environment for its people and businesses by providing businesses and consumers with greater assurance and confidence as they digitalize.
We are looking for a Research Engineer to develop and implement FPGA based systems and hardware acceleration techniques in Trust Technology and related areas such as privacy and security, which are important components of digital trust platforms. The role will focus on emerging hardware technologies that enhance efficiency in trust and support the values of fairness, safety, efficiency, and privacy in digital systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and development in FPGA and hardware acceleration technologies, translating algorithms into efficient hardware architectures, tools, and frameworks, and implementing working prototypes that demonstrate how research outputs can be innovated to build new capabilities.
Work closely with the Centre's researchers to design and develop research prototypes into proof of concept FPGA based systems.
Design and build working platforms that support technology transfer of new capabilities to research partners and can be used to showcase the value of research outcomes.
Develop and optimize FPGA implementations for compute intensive workloads such as privacy preserving systems, cryptography, AI/ML, and secure computing applications.
Write and maintain technical documentation, presentations, and papers on FPGA systems, hardware acceleration, and trust technologies, helping to raise overall competency in these emerging areas.
Engage global partners and researchers to understand latest trends in FPGA, reconfigurable computing, and trusted hardware systems, and advance Singapore's mindshare in this domain.
Job Requirements:
