Job Title: Research Engineer (Chemical-related)

JobType: Full-time (5-day work week, no OT, no shift)

Location: 5-7 mins walk from Jurong East MRT station

Salary: SGD$3200-SGD$3700/month, subject to CPF.

Job Summary:

As a Research Engineer, you will be an integral part of our research and development team, responsible for performing experiments and optimizing processes related to the manufacturing of magnetic nanoparticles used in IVD testing kits. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and researchers to drive technological advancements in the IVD field.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct experiments in the wet lab to synthesize, characterize, and modify magnetic nanoparticles according to the project pipeline or the customer requirements.

2. Design and execute protocols to produce magnetic nanoparticles, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative processes and techniques to enhance the efficiency and reliability of nanoparticle manufacturing.

4. Analyze experimental data and present findings to the research team, contributing to the decision-making process.

5. Troubleshoot and optimize experimental procedures to improve product performance and quality.

6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, protocols, and results.

7. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in nanoparticle studies and characterization techniques in the IVD field.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

2. Strong knowledge of wet lab techniques and internship experience in synthesizing nanoparticles or related materials.

3. Proficiency in nanoparticle characterization techniques, such as TEM, and SEM will be an advantage.

4. Welling and able to work in the wet lab environment.

5. Familiarity with formulation and optimization of chemical reactions.

6. Experience in working with magnetic nanoparticles or similar nanomaterials is highly desirable.

7. Knowledge of IVD testing methodologies and regulations is a plus.

8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document experimental procedures and results.

10. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

11. Professional with Microsoft Office.
