The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on Decoding Organizational Ethical Awareness: Unraveling the Formation and Consequences in the Context of Generative AI. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof HU Nan from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.
Candidate's core responsibilities are:
- Data collection and cleansing
- Develop and run experiments based on open-source LLM codebases
- Evaluate LLM performance, including conducting red teaming tasks
- Implement and fine-tune retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
- Collaborate with researchers to improve the engineering side of LLM-based systems
- Read, understand, and apply LLM-related academic papers in research work
- Work on optimizing LLM evaluation methodologies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science (CS), Information Systems (IS), Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines. A cross-disciplinary background is highly preferred. A Master's degree is a plus, but not required.
- Experience: At least one year of research experience, with proficiency in Python programming. Familiarity with using Large Language Models (LLMs) through APIs is required.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) evaluation techniques and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methodologies is essential.
- Advanced Qualifications: Ph.D. candidates are encouraged to apply, though a Ph.D. is not a requirement.
