RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on AI for Software Engineering. The candidate will be part of an active research team to be supervised by Prof. David Lo from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.
- Design and implement AI for software engineering solutions.
- Conduct evaluations and/or user studies to validate the effectiveness of the algorithms and tools.
- Write and publish research papers and present them to reputable academic conferences.
- Package the documents, implementation code, evaluation results of the project for public release.
- Liaise with other team members of this project to realize the overall goal of the project.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum Master degree in Information Systems / Computer Science/ Information Technology / Security / Informatics Engineering / Computer Engineer / Software Engineering.
- Publication of at least a first-authored paper in reasonable AI or software engineering or cybersecurity conferences/journals (CORE A or higher).
- Excellent knowledge about software engineering and artificial intelligence.
- Highly fluent in Python and Java.
- Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members.
- Able to work under strict deadlines.
- Research capability as evidenced by tangible deliverable i.e., at least a first-authored paper in CORE A or better conference / journal in the field of AI or software engineering.
