Research Associate (Materials)

The key objective is to support efforts to advance sustainable technologies through materials innovation and decarbonization research. The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) leads multidisciplinary research in sustainable materials, energy systems, and lowcarbon technologies to accelerate the global transition toward netzero emissions. ERI@N's research spans material characterization, corrosion and durability studies, and the development of advanced materials for offshore and onshore renewable energy applications.

We are looking for a Research Associate to conduct advanced research in sustainable materials and decarbonization science. The role will emphasize materials characterization, structure-property analysis, and the development of innovative materials for wind turbines, contributing to the ERI@N's mission of advancing sustainable engineering research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct materials research and characterization using advanced analytical methods.

• Design experiments and develop protocols for material performance testing.

• Analyze data and prepare technical reports and research publications.

• Collaborate with crossdisciplinary teams on sustainability and decarbonization initiatives.

• Support project reporting, proposals, and supervision of students or interns.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or related field.

• Experience in materials synthesis, corrosion studies, or advanced characterization techniques.

• Strong written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and organization.
