Research Associate (Internship)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate Intern to support our executive search team in Singapore. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end search process, including market mapping, candidate identification, and industry research. You will work closely with consultants and contribute to high-impact senior-level hiring mandates across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and talent mapping to identify business opportunities, industry trends, and potential candidates across various industries and functions.
- Proactively engage and build relationships with potential candidates and clients through databases, professional networks, referrals, and outreach activities.
- Support business development and sales initiatives by identifying prospective clients, generating market insights, and assisting consultants in expanding client relationships.
- Build and manage talent pipelines for executive search assignments through strategic outreach and relationship management.
- Conduct initial outreach and screening conversations to assess candidate suitability, motivations, and career aspirations.
- Prepare candidate profiles, market intelligence reports, sales presentations, and client-ready materials.
- Coordinate candidate and client interactions, interviews, and follow-ups to ensure a positive and professional experience.
- Analyze hiring trends, competitor movements, industry developments, and organizational structures to support sales and recruitment strategies.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, candidate databases, and business development records accurately.
- Develop long-term relationships with candidates and clients while contributing to the firm's market presence and growth.
- Support consultants in achieving recruitment and business development targets through proactive sourcing and outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong interest in sales, business development, recruitment, consulting, or client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills with confidence in engaging stakeholders professionally.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable with outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
