Research Associate (Civil Engineering)

NTU, CEE is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment.

We are looking for a Research Associate to support the development of hybrid vision-vibration digital twin for steel structures. The role will focus on simulation, lab testing and developing smart connectors for modular floating breakwaters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop modelling techniques for hybrid digital twins.

• Fabricate steel building models with corrosions.

• Develop AI and model updating techniques to calibrate the model.

• Publish several papers in top journals.

• Write proposals for further development.

• Mentor students.

Job Requirements:

• MSc degree in civil engineering or related field

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in structural analysis and machine learning.

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Proficiency in ABAQUS, MATLAB, and lab test skill

• Ability to work independently and develop solutions under strict timelines
