Job Description
The Research Assistant will contribute to the development of a focused research study that builds on prior exploratory work and advances new lines of inquiry. The role involves synthesising existing material, extending analysis through targeted investigation, and working closely with supervisors to refine frameworks, arguments, and outputs into a coherent final report.
Qualifications
- The applicant should have a background in architecture and/or urban design/ urban planning.
- The applicant should have completed graduate studies (i.e both Bachelors and Masters)
- The applicant should have previous experience of 1-2 years in the field of design/ planning / research.
- The applicant should demonstrate strong design and research capabilities, with an ability to link architectural form to broader urban, environmental, and infrastructural systems
- The applicant should have a working understanding of carbon in the built environment, including its estimation and representation across scales.
- The applicant should be proficient in synthesising complex information into clear insights, with strengths in analytical thinking, writing, and visual communication.
