Overall Role
Support mechanical-systemfocused R&D for novel robot embodiment, module functions, and repair operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical R&D for Flexible Joints and Wheel Assemblies
- Assist in concept development, CAD modelling, and prototyping of flexible joints, compliant mechanisms, and adaptive wheel designs.
- Perform finite element analysis, tolerance studies, and durability testing.
- Repair / Re-lining / Chokage Removal Modules
- Develop working prototypes of:
- Repair/re-lining actuation mechanisms
- Chokage removal toolkits
- Conduct bench-top testing, material selection studies, and integration support on the robot chassis.
- Experimental Support
- Conduct robotic system testing in simulated pipelines, help set up instrumentation, and collect performance metrics.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
- Experience in CAD, prototyping, FEA, actuators, and mechanism design.
- Hands-on fabrication and testing skills.
