Research & Implementation Executive (SPED Teaching and Learning)
We are seeking a research-focused professional who is passionate about improving teaching and learning outcomes in Special Education (SPED). This role combines hands-on research, data analysis, and on-ground engagement with schools, offering the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to curriculum enhancement and the educational experiences of learners with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Data Evaluation
- Support the end-to-end implementation of a research study assessing the effectiveness of SPED Teaching and Learning Syllabuses.
- Collect, record, analyse, and evaluate both quantitative and qualitative data, including insights from stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Conduct literature reviews to inform policy recommendations, support syllabus refinement, and strengthen evidence-based practices in SPED.
Syllabus Implementation Support
- Work closely with educators and school leaders to support the rollout of syllabus components in SPED schools.
- Provide research-informed insights that translate into practical strategies for teaching and learning.
- Assist in synthesising feedback and implementation findings into clear reports and presentations.
Who We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related disciplines.
Experience & Competencies
- Preferably 3+ years of experience conducting literature reviews and research within psychology, education, or special education contexts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into meaningful recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in presenting research findings.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a research-intensive environment.
- A genuine interest in supporting the SPED sector and contributing to more inclusive, effective teaching and learning.
