Key Responsibilities
- Review, document, and analyse existing work processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement process enhancements to improve quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external clients to understand operational needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct on-site studies, data collection, time-motion analysis, and pilot testing of new processes or solutions.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and documentation for internal and client use.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on performance outcomes of implemented improvements.
- Lead research on emerging technologies, tools, and methods relevant to the company's industry focus.
- Support management in project planning, budgeting, and reporting related to R&D initiatives.
- Provide training, guidance, and technical support to teams adopting new processes or systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant industry standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Proven track record (minimum 5 years) in process improvement, operations excellence, or research and development roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and report preparation.
- Comfortable working off-site with clients from various industries.
- Hands-on attitude, able to execute and lead implementation personally when required.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
