Job Description: Renovation Project Manager

Location: Singapore

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Renovation Project Manager to oversee residential and/or commercial renovation projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will manage projects from planning to completion, ensuring quality workmanship, regulatory compliance, cost control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Lead end-to-end renovation projects including design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

  • Develop detailed project timelines and work schedules.

  • Coordinate with designers, architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Conduct site measurements and feasibility assessments.

2. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations and safety standards.

  • Liaise with authorities such as the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Housing & Development Board (HDB) for permits and approvals where required.

  • Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

3. Budget & Cost Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates.

  • Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control measures are implemented.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.

4. Site Supervision & Quality Control

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and quality standards.

  • Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion.

  • Resolve on-site issues, delays, and technical challenges effectively.

5. Client Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide regular progress updates and manage client expectations.

  • Handle variation orders and ensure proper documentation.

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper documentation including contracts, drawings, variation orders, and progress reports.

  • Ensure proper handover documentation upon project completion.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of local building codes and renovation regulations.

  • Familiarity with HDB and private property renovation processes.

  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualification

  • Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) certification.

  • Experience managing both residential and commercial renovation projects preferred
