Renewable Energy Systems Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop renewable energy systems, including solar, wind and hydro projects.

• Conduct feasibility assessments, system sizing, and detailed engineering designs.

• Perform engineering calculations and support project execution from design through implementation.

• Oversee projects to ensure technical accuracy, timelines, and quality standards are met.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and analyse system performance data.

• Collaborate closely with clients, engineers & technicians, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.

• Ensure that projects comply with local regulations and standards.

• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support continuous improvement.

• Identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency across projects.

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related discipline.

• 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in renewable energy projects.

• Familiarity with renewable energy software tools (PVsyst, HOMER).

• Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, wind turbines, and energy storage.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• A strong passion for sustainability and clean energy solutions.
