Job Description

This role focuses on editing and producing UGC-style video ads for a premium skincare brand targeting women aged 38 and above. The editor will work with provided raw footage, scripts, B-Roll, and brand assets to craft engaging, authentic, and visually refined ads for Meta and Instagram platforms. The position requires a keen understanding of the brand's unique selling points, target audience, and the ability to deliver content that reflects a high-end aesthetic. Editors will be responsible for maintaining clean craftsmanship in cuts, pacing, subtitles, and music, ensuring each video aligns with the brand's standards and resonates with discerning viewers. The workflow includes editing approximately five videos per week, each 60–75 seconds in a 9:16 format, with multiple hooks delivered as separate files. There is one round of revision per video, and collaboration will be managed via Google Drive and Docs.

Deliverables

  • Edit and deliver five UGC-style video ads per week, each 60–75 seconds, in 9:16 format for Meta/Instagram.
  • Incorporate multiple hooks as separate files for each video.
  • Utilize provided raw footage, scripts, B-Roll, custom fonts, and feedback to ensure brand consistency.
  • Integrate royalty-free stock or AI-generated B-Roll only as short, convincingly realistic clips.
  • Apply clean, premium editing techniques in cuts, pacing, subtitles, and music selection.
  • Complete one round of revisions per video based on feedback.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the aesthetic and messaging standards of a high-priced skincare brand.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing video ads for beauty, D2C, or lifestyle brands, ideally for Meta/Instagram platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UGC-style editing and premium visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Ability to interpret scripts, brand guidelines, and feedback to produce authentic, high-quality content.
  • Familiarity with royalty-free stock and AI-generated B-Roll integration.
  • Excellent attention to detail in cuts, pacing, subtitles, and music.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely using Google Drive/Docs.
  • Availability to deliver five videos per week and participate in a short onboarding call.
  • Understanding of the target demographic: women aged 38–52 who value efficacy and aesthetics.
