Release Manager contractor to manage internal software releases for employee-focused products. This role involves ensuring high-quality feature releases across platforms, collaborating with engineering, product, and QA teams to develop and implement release strategies, and delivering EP Product features successfully while adhering to standards and governance. Responsibilities include critical product launches, financial close processes, Oracle server patches, and high-volume meta.com promotion programs.
Key Responsibilities Following product development, release manager responsible supporting across product validation (UAT and Dogfooding) and post-launch (Hypercare): -
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): RM UAT ensures product updates meet real-world needs through user testing, execution, and stakeholder
sign-off.
- Hypercare: RM Hypercare provides elevated post-launch support via daily standups, custom intake, and dashboards to resolve issues and track bugs
. - Dogfooding: RM Dogfooding helps teams test products internally by offering a standardized framework, self-service resources for setup, issue/enhancement submission, and reporting dashboards.
Qualifications - Experience: Proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role, particularly within enterprise environments. - Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with numerous stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to various audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Solid problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with release management tools, project management tools, and data and insights analysis.
