About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, product, and operations to ensure timely, stable, and successful software deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage software release schedules and activities
- Coordinate release content based on service requests, change tickets, and dependencies
- Communicate release timelines and updates to all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with release processes and documentation
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues affecting releases
- Conduct release readiness and post-implementation reviews
- Collaborate closely with Dev, QA, and Ops teams to streamline deployments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Release Manager or similar role
- Solid knowledge of SDLC and release management best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple releases in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks (preferred)
