Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager (SME Loan) to drive client acquisition and portfolio growth in the SME financing space, focused on unsecured working capital loans for businesses in Singapore. Confident in originating, assessing and managing borrower relationship from lead generation through disbursement and post sales relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition by identifying and engaging SMEs in need of unsecured working capital financing
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, referrals, and partnerships
  • Conduct initial credit assessments using financial statements, bank data, and company records
  • Structure and propose suitable financing solutions based on clients cash flow needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing and disbursement
  • Collaborate with internal credit and operations teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including repayments, renewals, and risk indicators

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in SME financing, business loan sales, or unsecured lending
  • Proven track record in originating and closing unsecured SME loans in Singapore
  • Strong understanding of SME financials, cash flow analysis, and basic credit assessment
  • Results-driven and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets
  • Established network of SME clients, brokers, or referral partners preferred
  • Experience in fintech or alternative lending platforms is a plus
