As a Relationship Manager, you can expect the following:
- Client Sourcing and Networking: Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate new client relationships through targeted industry networking, strategic outreach, and participation in relevant ecosystem forums. Build a healthy and sustainable pipeline of prospects aligned with Sygnum's growth priorities.
- Client Management: Manage a portfolio of prospective and existing clients by prioritising touchpoints, anticipating needs, and delivering timely, high‑quality responses across the full spectrum of services-including fiat and digital asset transactions, trading execution, and custody solutions. Ensure an exceptional and consistent client experience.
- End-to-End Client Onboarding: Lead and coordinate the full onboarding lifecycle, collaborating effectively with Legal & Compliance, Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient client activation. Drive continuous improvements to shorten onboarding timelines while maintaining regulatory rigour.
- CRM & Pipeline Ownership: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and strategically useful CRM records across all client interactions. Use CRM insights to optimise pipeline management, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and support data‑driven decision‑making throughout the client lifecycle.
- Market & Product Expertise: Develop and maintain deep expertise in the crypto and digital asset landscape, including Sygnum's differentiated offerings, market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics. Represent Sygnum at conferences, events, and industry forums to build credibility and expand a strong network.
Our ideal candidate:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Advanced qualifications such as a Master's degree, MBA, or CFA certification are advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management within financial services or adjacent sectors. Exposure to private or institutional client segments is strongly preferred. Experience within a regulated financial institution, including familiarity with KYC processes and AML/CTF requirements, is essential.
Skills & Competencies: Demonstrated consultative approach with strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a high standard of accuracy. Proven ability to operate hands‑on in a fast‑moving environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Client Onboarding & Relationship Management: Direct experience managing end‑to‑end client onboarding and supporting ongoing relationship lifecycle needs. Working knowledge of Singapore's regulatory framework for digital assets is essential, familiarity with other key APAC or global jurisdictions is highly beneficial.
Communication & Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or another major APAC language is a plus.
