Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team for 6 months, focusing on managing and nurturing relationships with shipping clients in designated sub-regions of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the shipping industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in ship financing and building and maintaining client relationships in the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for certain shipping clients in specific sub regions of APAC, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery of financial services.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on client activities, feedback, and market insights.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management and/or front office position, including some within the shipping industry.
- Strong understanding of shipping markets globally.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Banking systems and credit and sector policies will be advantageous.
