Position Overview
The candidate will work within the senior management team and expected to offer in-depth knowledge of the insurance broking business.
MainResponsibilities
- The leadership and management of insuranceand reinsurance intermediation for the team including business production, riskplacing, and client servicing and associated functions.
- Evaluate potential opportunities andbuild business plans backed by solid research & data.
- To develop strategic production anddevelopment plans for the Company, including the identification of new businessopportunities and the planning and development of new initiatives.
- To promote effective and regularcommunication within the Department and with other Departments.
- To promote and ensure compliance withthe Company's Rules and Procedures and other management instructions.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in insurancebroking industry is desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Well-developed Leadership and Management skills
- Ability to build and maintain profitable long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to handle multiple prioritiesin a fast paced environment
- Strong negotiation, influencing skills,analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
