Reinsurance (Facultative / Treaty)

Key Responsibilities

. Support the evaluation and placement of facultative and/or treaty reinsurance risks for both new and renewal portfolios, in line with internal guidelines and business objectives

. Assist in preparing reinsurance slips, quotations, and related documentation for submission to reinsurers

. Liaise with cedants, brokers, and reinsurers to facilitate smooth placement and follow up on outstanding terms

. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates in internal systems for all reinsurance transactions

. Ensure proper documentation standards are maintained to support audit and compliance requirements

. Monitor placement progress and turnaround time to ensure efficient processing within agreed timelines

. Support the preparation of periodic reports and assist in analysing portfolio performance

. Participate in client meetings, market discussions, and industry engagements when required

. Stay updated on reinsurance market trends, pricing movements, and capacity changes

. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational procedures

Requirements

. Prior experience in reinsurance, underwriting, or broking environments is preferred

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

. Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders

. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment

. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) exposure to data analysis tools is an advantage
