• Monitor and interpret new and existing regulations (e.g., GDPR, Dodd-Frank, HIPAA, or industry-specific ISO standards) to determine applicability to business units.

• Conduct thorough audits of existing workflows, policies, and controls to establish a baseline of current compliance health.

• Perform formal gap analyses to highlight specific areas where internal processes fall short of statutory or regulatory obligations.

• Evaluate the impact and probability of non-compliance gaps and rank them based on legal, financial, and reputational risk.

• Collaborate with department heads to design and implement corrective action plans, including updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
