Overview
This role oversees end-to-end regulatory compliance for the Singapore office while supporting broader regional initiatives. It is well-suited for a seasoned compliance professional who thrives in a dynamic fintech environment, can translate regulatory requirements into practical actions, and build scalable compliance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Singapore compliance framework in line with MAS regulations.
- Review, update, and maintain compliance policies, manuals, and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory developments, assess gaps, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement required changes.
- Establish and manage the Key Obligation Register and corresponding controls.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Business, Product, and Operations, as well as relevant external parties, on compliance matters.
- Oversee regulatory inspections, filings, surveys, and regulatory communications.
- Liaise with MAS on compliance and supervisory matters.
- Support regional compliance initiatives and assist the Director of Compliance as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Min 5 years of end-to-end regulatory compliance experience within financial institutions.
- Min 2 years of working experience within fintech or payments industry.
- Strong ability to interpret regulatory requirements and operationalise them effectively with stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with MAS requirements for Major Payment Institutions is mandatory.
- Direct experience liaising with MAS (inspections, RFIs, submissions) is mandatory
