Regulatory and Product Development Manager/Senior Manager(Consumer Health, FMCG)

Join a dynamic team as a Scientific Affairs Specialist, where you will drive the translation of scientific evidence into impactful products, ensuring regulatory compliance and market readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of clear value propositions from scientific evidence and ingredient efficacy, collaborating with R&D and venture partners.
• Analyze scientific data to produce product dossiers, technical documentation, and claims substantiation files for commercialization and regulatory purposes.
• Guide end-to-end product development, translating scientific and regulatory requirements into practical development stages, from concept to commercialization.
• Ensure claims and consumer messaging are scientifically credible and compliant with regulatory standards across various projects.
• Conduct regulatory viability assessments for multiple target markets, focusing on ingredient regulations and marketing requirements.
• Evaluate the feasibility of new product concepts and ingredients during early development stages, identifying risks and recommending pathways to market.
• Act as the subject-matter expert on scientific substantiation, clearly communicating technical findings to internal stakeholders and partners.
• Monitor regulatory and scientific trends, advising on emerging opportunities, requirements, and risks.
• Source and evaluate natural ingredients for use in new product formulations, collaborating with suppliers and research entities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Cosmetic Science, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, product development, or related industries.
• Proven experience in working with natural or botanical ingredients, translating scientific evidence into commercial applications.
• Strong knowledge of ingredient regulations and market classifications, especially within Asian markets.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience in collaborating with external partners on product development or scientific/regulatory initiatives.
• Familiarity with claims substantiation and regulatory submission processes.
