Mission (About The Role)

As the Regional Transport Control Tower Manager, you will organize and manage all international transportation flows and solutions inter- and intra-region. Your primary mandate is to deliver exceptional service levels according to our logistics commitments at the optimal cost.

You will act as the core operational liaison between transportation, supply planning, customer service, and third-party/fourth-party logistics (3PL and 4PL) provider. You will hold dedicated ownership over the regional Cross-Border Trucking product portfolio. This role leads the transport data strategy for the region to drive complete, real-time shipment visibility and network agility.

What will you do

Control Tower Operations & Product Management

  • Daily Network Governance: Oversee daily control tower operations to ensure end-to-end, real-time visibility and control of international shipments inter- and intra-region.
  • Cross-Border Trucking Leadership: Take end-to-end responsibility for managing, scaling, and optimizing the Cross-Border Trucking product in the region, ensuring lane efficiency and carrier capacity.
  • KPI & 4PL Management: Monitor and analyze vendor performance metrics (including On-Time Pick-up/Delivery, milestone visibility, and communication adherence) across complex 3PL and 4PL logistics networks.
  • Data Architecture: Lead the transport data strategy, collaborating with Analytics and IT teams to develop reliable, accurate, and timely reporting tools.

Advanced Technology & Continuous Improvement

  • AI & Advanced Analytics: Promote the adoption of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions within the control tower environment to automate execution intelligence, and exception routing.
  • Risk Mitigation: Predict, identify, and mitigate operational risks related to capacity constraints, transit delays, and geopolitical events impacting road and multi-modal freight networks.
  • Process Optimization: Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to enhance service quality and optimize overall freight spend.

Culture, Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • High-Accountability Culture: Build a culture of accountability and customer focus across internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure service excellence and rapid incident resolution.
  • People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, geographically distributed team of transportation professionals.

What qualifications will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of total experience in international transportation or supply chain management, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated leadership role managing regional portfolios.
  • Proven expertise navigating both 3PL and 4PL ecosystem architectures, with direct experience running large-scale international freight operations.
  • Solid understanding of inter- and intra-regional trade pathways. Outstanding communication, cross-functional collaboration, and decision-making skills within a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment. Strong analytical skills and professionally fluent English
