Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global and regional tax initiatives to support business strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and legal counsel to support regional private equity and real estate structuring and investments.
  • Manage and maintain investment platforms, including compliance and reporting under incentive frameworks including Singapore's 13O/13U.
  • Oversee regional transfer pricing policies and monitor permanent establishment risk management.
  • Stay updated on relevant tax developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Partner with finance teams and external advisors to oversee tax compliance and reporting for key Apac regions.
  • Manage quarterly tax provisioning and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Implement and maintain robust controls over tax processes to ensure compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local tax authorities and regional tax audits.

Your Profile

  • Degree-qualified Chartered Accountant with 8+ years experience, preferably in a Big 4 tax practice.
  • Deep understanding of asset management or investment fund structuring and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in cross-border structuring and international tax.
  • Solid experience in tax compliance processes (preparation or review).
  • Thorough knowledge of regional corporate tax regulations, with a focus on Singapore.
  • Working knowledge of tax accounting and VAT principles.
  • Highly organized with a track record of timely delivery.
  • Attention to detail and a hands-on approach to complex matters.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
