Our client is a global leader in the electronic manufacturing space, specialising in large scale industrial projects in Singapore and we are looking for a Regional Strategic Sourcing Lead to cover the ASEAN market in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor excellence particularly for the indirect category.

about the job

• Direct the creation and execution of specialised sourcing frameworks and compliance protocols across Southeast Asia to ensure all acquisition activities align with international quality and safety benchmarks.
• Lead the end-to-end life-cycle of vendor partnerships, from establishing rigorous selection criteria and formal bidding cycles to negotiating high-stakes, long-term contracts for mission-critical resources.
• Take full ownership of the regional procurement budget and KPIs, utilising deep financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline process workflows.
• Proactively monitor shifting market trends and supply chain vulnerabilities to develop robust mitigation plans that safeguard the organisation against procurement-related risks.
• Act as a key liaison between global business segments and local stakeholders while managing the professional growth of a regional team of procurement and order fulfilment specialists.

skills and experience required

• Min. 5 years of experience in senior procurement specifically with a focus on managing indirect procurement
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
