Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber Regional Sourcing and Marketing Manager to drive cross-border procurement and market expansion initiatives. You will manage the full supply chain lifecycle-from sourcing and technical negotiation to regional marketing and client relationship management-connecting Tier-1 OEM suppliers in China with power plant operators and owners in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead identification, auditing, and management of a portfolio of high-quality OEM suppliers in China specializing in power plant components and engineering equipment to ensure supply reliability and quality.
  • Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery terms with suppliers to maintain SynerCore's competitive advantage in the energy sector.
  • Oversee cross-border logistics and supply chain risk management to guarantee timely delivery to regional project sites.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that position SynerCore as the preferred partner for power plant owners and operators in the Philippines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Chinese technical suppliers and Southeast Asian clients, translating technical requirements into commercially viable solutions.
  • Identify and analyze emerging market trends in LNG, coal, and steel trading to expand SynerCore's trading footprint in Southeast Asia.
  • Build and sustain long-term partnerships with power plant decision-makers, government entities, and engineering leaders to support business growth.
  • Navigate complex multicultural business environments to facilitate contract negotiations and resolve disputes effectively.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, industrial marketing, or international trading within the energy or heavy engineering sector.
  • Deep understanding of the China-Southeast Asia trade corridor, with specific expertise in the Philippines energy market.
  • Proven negotiation skills demonstrated by a track record of closing high-value contracts with OEM suppliers and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong sales acumen and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, diversified business environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to coordinate effectively between Chinese suppliers and regional clients.
