Theregional sales specialistreports to Head of Sales, SEA, to be responsible for all aspects of the sales and marketing activities for IQS product portfolio in Singapore, and Batam, Indonesia (70% scope of work). The sales engineer is responsible for the sales targets assigned for his/her territory, handles technical and sales inquiries and to expand sales funnel in the assigned territory. The sales engineer is expected to identify and develop new customers for both conventional and newly identified focused customer segments.
The sales engineer is expected to create market awareness for ZEISS IQS product portfolio and to grow market share of ZEISS in Singapore, and Batam, Indonesia.
He/she needs to work closely with business partners/dealers to conduct market research/mapping hence provide adequate market coverage in the assigned territory.
The sales engineer will also dotted-line report to Regional Product Sales Manager (HandsOnMetrology) and to be responsible for all aspects of the sales and marketing activities for Optical System product portfolio (GOM & HOMbusiness) in Singapore Malaysia, and Batam, Indonesia.
He/She is expected to identify and develop new customers and to create market awareness for ZEISS IQS Optical System product portfolio and to grow market share for the assigned territory.

Key Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering), Business or related fields
- 3 years working experience in field sales, inside sales, business development or project management role
- 5 years working experience in industrial machinery selling company, including but not limited to production
machines
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Independent & able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively across departments
- Able to travel within SEA region and possess own transport
- 2 year contract with 3rd party vendor
