Job Description

Under limited supervision, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts while driving new business growth across the region. This role requires strong relationship management skills and the ability to interface effectively with a range of customers, including engine MRO facilities, airlines, brokers, and OEMs.

The position also supports the development of regional sales strategies, business growth initiatives, and customer retention plans. Acting as the regional business development expert, the Regional Sales Manager collaborates closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular contact with designated customers to support ongoing sales and business development activities.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new customers and sales opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Coordinate technical discussions and interfaces to support customers requiring technical assistance or service.
  • Develop and manage customer sales forecasts, including projected order volumes for one to five years.
  • Research and recommend new or used parts inventory for customer orders, including sourcing and replacement options.
  • Monitor repair shop activities and performance to ensure customer requirements and schedules are met.
  • Support collection activities to ensure timely payment of customer receivables.
  • Serve as the regional business development expert for parts repair services.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment, adhering to all internal standards and external regulations.
  • Promote a business culture that aligns with the company's goals for cost, quality, process improvement, schedule adherence, and people development.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable export control, environmental, and workplace safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; additional 4+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles within the aerospace Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector.
  • Must be eligible to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and related program requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, define objectives, and maintain group focus.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and internal meetings (estimated travel: up to 50%, including international travel).
