Role Overview

We are working with a multinational organisation, seeking a senior commercial leader to drive regional growth within the data centre solutions space across Southeast Asia. This role is accountable for shaping regional sales strategy, expanding market presence, and leading high-performing teams to deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth.

The position carries regional responsibility, combining strategic planning, key account leadership, market development, and people management. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, with strong domain knowledge across data centre infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Growth & Market Development

. Define and execute regional go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth within the data centre ecosystem

. Identify new market opportunities while strengthening existing customer and partner relationships

. Drive regional expansion through strategic account development and channel collaboration

Sales Leadership & Performance Management

. Own regional revenue, margin, and sales performance outcomes

. Establish sales targets, forecasts, and budgets aligned with regional objectives

. Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are achieved

. Champion best practices in sales execution, customer engagement, and commercial discipline

Key Account & Customer Engagement

. Lead regional engagement with strategic and enterprise-level customers

. Ensure strong coordination across country teams to deliver consistent account management

. Act as senior escalation point for complex commercial discussions and negotiations

. Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development

Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights

. Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer demand patterns

. Translate market insights into actionable strategies and commercial initiatives

. Support data-driven decision-making through structured analysis and reporting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

. Partner closely with marketing, product, technical, and operations teams to align regional execution

. Ensure seamless coordination between regional and country-level stakeholders

. Support pre-sales and post-sales engagements where senior-level involvement is required

People Leadership & Organisation Development

. Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales organisation across multiple markets

. Build and evolve a scalable regional structure to support long-term growth

. Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative team culture

Governance & Reporting

. Maintain oversight of commercial P&L performance, including revenue, gross margin, and cost management

. Provide regular management reporting and strategic updates to regional leadership

. Support ad-hoc initiatives and regional projects as required

Qualifications & Experience

. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical discipline

. Min 10- 15 years experience in data centre, critical infrastructure, or related B2B solution environments

. Strong track record in regional sales leadership and strategic account management

. Significant people management experience across multi-country teams

. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen

. Proven ability to lead complex regional sales organisations

. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

. Customer-centric, results-driven, and execution-focused

. Comfortable operating in fast-paced, matrixed environments

. Willingness to travel regionally as required
