Job Description:
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare reports and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders on overall merchant performance, identifying key trends and growth opportunities.
- Help track key performance indicators (KPIs), merchant program adoption, and program success metrics across the region.
- Define and standardize the methodology/definition for key metrics, providing clear analytical direction for local merchant management teams to focus on.
Strategy & Planning
- Diagnose merchant-related operational challenges (e.g. slow merchant preparation time) through data analysis and develop data-driven improvement plans.
- Collaborate with local and regional teams to design and implement effective incentive and penalty policies to improve merchant behavior and performance (e.g., reducing merchant-induced cancellation rates, improving product listing quality).
- Benchmark ShopeeFood's operations processes against competitor platforms and continuously adapt or recommend new best practices for our merchant ecosystem.
Stakeholder Management & Alignment
- Coordinate with local and regional teams to align on project scope, details, and implementation plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen project management processes and share best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Economics, Finance or a related field
- Internship or work experience in a tech company or fast-paced startup is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
