Job Summary
Lead program and project controls initiatives to optimize asset management, budgeting, and project delivery. Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate cost management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of project controls and databases.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain the Asset Management database with accurate and current information to support decision-making
- Perform QA/QC on invoicing, change orders, and final proposals to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Review cost estimates, prepare bid leveling analyses, and generate Project Reports based on final proposals
- Collect, standardize, and validate bid information using OneWBS codes to ensure best value for the PMO
- Oversee the transfer of bids and final costs into the Benchmarking database using standardized templates
- Lead budgeting and forecasting data collection processes to support financial planning and control
- Drive program and project-level initiatives to continuously improve the Asset Management database, project controls, and delivery processes
- Maintain project control specifications and scopes of work for contractors and vendors aligned with internal procedures
- Manage and track key milestones such as utility turn-on dates, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align campus demand, supply capacity, and utility readiness
Required Competencies And Certifications
- Experience in bottom-up estimating including material takeoffs
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as P6, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheets
- Understanding of financial terminology including Capex, Opex, accruals, amortization, asset tags, capitalization, and journal entries
Preferred Competencies And Qualifications
- Quantity surveying experience and understanding
- Experience in data center projects
- Professional memberships with recognized industry bodies such as RICS, APM, MCIOB, PMI, or AACE International
