Overview of the Role

This is a Regional Product and Application Specialist (Healthcare) role combining technical expertise, clinical support, and commercial responsibility. The position acts as the key point of contact for product-related matters across Southeast Asia, supporting both customers and internal stakeholders while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for product information, training, application support, and technical inquiries
  • Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and clinical support in operating room settings
  • Support sales activities and contribute to achieving revenue targets
  • Train and support customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure effective product usage
  • Gather and share market insights and competitor information
  • Work closely with regional stakeholders to support business strategies and customer engagement
  • Participate in marketing activities such as workshops, training sessions, and educational events
  • Monitor and support performance metrics aligned with regional objectives
  • Collaborate with technical or clinical experts to address more complex product-related needs
  • Continuously develop product knowledge, communication skills, and customer engagement capabilities

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimally 6 years of experience in Application, Sales, or Business Development within consumables or surgical
  • Experience with ophthalmology surgical equipment is preferred
  • Prior experience working in operating room environments is essential

  • Strong communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills
  • High level of technical competency with the ability to translate clinical value to customers
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage regional responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach

  • Ability to adapt to multicultural environments and regional dynamics
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • High ethical standards and compliance with business conduct guidelines
  • Extensive travelling in the region will be required
